Privacy policy

This page explains what BlogYet collects, why, and what you can ask us to change. It was last updated on 29 October 2026.

Who is responsible

BlogYet operates blogyet.com. Privacy questions go through your account page.

What we collect

Account data comes first. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. If you register another way we store the email address you give us.

Order data follows. For each order we keep the target URL, keyword, chosen donor, content mode, price, payment status and the dates involved. We need it to deliver the placement and to show your history.

Technical data is the last group. Our servers log your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which we use for security and for counting visits.

What we do with it

We use your data to run the account, deliver and track orders, send service messages such as receipts, prevent abuse and fix faults. We do not sell personal data.

Payments stay separate. Payment details are handled by the method you choose. We do not see a full card number. Balance top-ups are recorded in the dashboard, with the amount, date and method.

Cookies

We set a session cookie so you can stay signed in, and a small preference cookie. Analytics, where used, counts visits without profiling you across other sites. Blocking cookies is allowed, but then sign-in may fail.

Sharing and retention

We share data only with service providers who help us run the site, such as hosting and payment processing, and when the law requires it. Published placements show your target URL to the public, because the link is the product.

We keep account and order records while your account is open and for the period tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are kept for a shorter time.

Third-party sites and links

Our product is links, so the sites that host your placements are outside our control. They have their own privacy practices. We do not pass your account details to them, only the text and target URL needed for the placement.

Children are not our audience. The service is for adults running websites, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Your choices

You may ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account. Make the request through your account page. Some records we may need to keep for accounting reasons, and we will tell you which.

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when published here, and the date at the top will change.
