How to purchase backlinks for a dormant blog
Pick three pages, set a cap per page, choose donors that match the topic, and pay only after you review the basket. The rest of this page shows how that looks with real prices.
Four rules before the first order
Never buy for the home page first. A single refreshed post that answers a real question is easier to link to, and an editor who reads it sees why.
Match topic and language before you match Domain Rating. A DR 30 site in your niche is a better neighbour than a DR 70 site about something else.
Spread orders over several weeks. A blog that has been silent and suddenly gains twenty links in a day looks odd to people as well as to algorithms.
Keep records. Every order should add one line to your sheet: donor, date, target page and anchor, so you can read results a month later without guessing.
A reader who checked the Ahrefs backlinks check routine and the refresh test is ready for this step. Anyone who skipped them should go back first, because the basket is the cheapest part to postpone.
A hypothetical month-one budget
| Budget | Split | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| $100 | 3 links at about $25 to $35, one per refreshed post | Test whether relevant mid-range donors move impressions |
| $300 | 4 links around $50, 2 cheaper at $10 to $20 | Two posts get a pair each, the rest get one |
| $1,000 | Wait until month two | Read what the first batch did before scaling |
The order flow inside the marketplace
- 1
Find links
Filter the 50,000+ donor domains by Domain Rating, organic traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price.
- 2
Add to basket
Nothing is charged at this point. Add, remove and compare as many rows as you like.
- 3
Pick a content mode
Automatic uses your target URL and keyword. Prompt mode takes your instructions. Finished article mode publishes the text you wrote.
- 4
Review and pay
Top up your balance in the dashboard, then pay the basket. Invoices and proforma invoices are available.
- 5
Watch it go live
Placements usually appear within about 24 hours. The status shows under ordered links.
We cannot say a placement will lift a page, or by how much. Links are one input among many, and a dormant blog's weak content can cancel them out. Treat month one as an experiment with a cap, not a bet.
Buying questions from blog revivers
Are the links dofollow and permanent?
Yes, placements are permanent dofollow. Each article carries one clean link to your page. Permanent here means the placement is meant to stay, but a donor site can still change hands or close, so keep your sheet current.
Can I use my own article instead of the automatic one?
Yes. There are three modes: automatic from your URL and keyword, your own prompt, or your own finished article. Choose the last when the post must match your blog's voice or contains claims you have checked.
Can I order through an API or an AI assistant?
Yes. There is a REST API with a Bearer key, and AI agents can browse donors and fill the basket over MCP, for example from ChatGPT or Claude. Paying the basket stays a separate step that a human approves.
What if I run a blog and want to sell links myself?
Publishers can list their own sites, set a price, approve every placement and receive weekly payouts. Revived blogs with real readers sometimes do this, but only keep the topic tight and say no to off-topic requests.
